iTrans Print

The iTrans fixed-point gas monitor employs an intelligent electronics platform to provide one or two points of detection from a single head for maximum flexibility, superior performance and lower installation costs.
Able to monitor any combination of gases for a specific environment, iTrans utilizes our industry proven “smart” sensor technology and safety features including automatic sensor recognition, access code security, and zero and cal fault protection – all enclosed within an explosion-proof aluminum or stainless steel housing.
The microprocessor-controlled transmitters are capable of independent operation or multi-point system configuration. With optional on-board relays, the monitor has the added ability of stand-alone operation, activating alarms, horns, or fans and can also shutdown a system without the need to wire back to a central control panel.

Feature and Benefit

Feature Benefit
Single or dual channel configuration Flexible platform allows for any combination of sensors. Lower price point per channel for monitoring more than one gas in an area.
ModBus RTU interface Allows system integrators to connect iTrans to SCADA, HMI, and PLC systems.
Remote sensors Sensors are designed to be mounted remotely from the iTrans head (up to 200 meters away) or in a stand-alone fashion (in ModBus applications).
Non-intrusive calibration Allows field calibration in hazardous locations.
LED display Large, bright display that can be seen from across plant; easy to read in dark environments.
On-board relays Enables user to activate alarms, horns, fans, locally without the need for a controller.
Low-cost Extremely low price per point of detection
Push button/keypad operation Intuitive, easy-to-use interface makes it simple to program alarms, set relays, zero, calibrate, and change span gas settings.
Field upgradable “smart” sensors Second sensor can be added at any time in the field. Sensor type can also be changed in the field.
Programmable alarms Programmable low and high alarms for each channel; flashing alarm message on LED display activates to indicate hazardous conditions.
